Top 5 Travel Snacks

If you follow me on the gram then you have seen that I recently started a new job & I love it. So far in the past month and a half I have been able to travel to 5 different states. Now although I love all the travel initially it was a little difficult to stick to my eating habits while on the road (or in the sky). This free for all Friday I am giving you all my top 5 snacks that I always have in my carry on!
1. Protein Bars
These are my go to! You can get them just about anywhere and you have the option to buy them by the box. Plus with so many options out there you are sure to find one that fits your macros! My current favorite is Atkins Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar!
2. Protein Powder
Although you can’t take premade protein shakes through security with you, you can take powder. I usually measure out and label ziplock bags with my Ancient Nutrition Keto Protein powder. Prepackaged individual servings are also cleared for takeoff!
I am a snacker! I love to munch of stuff all day so jerky is perfect! Its high in protein and usually low in carbs and calories so I don’t feel guilty eating an entire bag! My current favorite is the Country Archer Turkey Jerky! Plus this brand is carried at Starbucks in most airports!
These are perfect when you have a craving for something salty! You can either buy individually packaged pretzels or you can buy a big bag and separate them I to ziplock bags yourself!
Boom Chica Pop is my go to for this one! Their kettle corn flavor is to die for plus they come in individual bags so I know I am keeping my portions in check!
Always bring a reusable water bottle with you to the airport. Flying can cause you to get dehydrated and water bottles at the airport are usually so expensive. Most airports have their own hydration stations. Not only is bringing a reusable bottle cost effective it’s also environmentally friendly!
